33
weeks: Your baby is about the size of a pineapple
Measuring
17-plus inches from head to heel and weighing a little over 4 pounds, your baby
is rapidly losing that wrinkled, alien look and his skeleton is hardening.
Baby's
bones continue to harden and his lungs are almost fully developed as the lanugo
starts to disappear. While the rest of the bones become hard, the skull bones
will remain soft to enable natural birth. The soft spot will remain for a few
years yet, in order to accommodate the growing brain.
